Gandhinagar, the capital metropolis of Gujarat, is understood for its wealthy cultural heritage, city panorama, and huge inexperienced cowl. With the Sabarmati River flowing alongside its western boundary, town is house to quite a few lakes, ponds, stepwells, and reservoirs. Nonetheless, over time, fast urbanization has shifted focus away from these very important water our bodies, resulting in encroachments and degradation, thereby threatening town’s ecological steadiness. Restoring these wetlands is essential for groundwater recharge, agriculture, biodiversity, and general environmental resilience.
E.F.I., in collaboration with the Gandhinagar Municipal Company, has taken on a number of water our bodies in Adalaj and Ambapur villages, working in the direction of their restoration and conservation.
