Senior BJP chief and former Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday stated girls of Tamil Nadu have misplaced hope within the ruling DMK authorities and demanded that the probe within the case of sexual assault on a scholar at Anna College campus be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
In a press convention, Dr. Tamilisai stated all political events have the suitable to protest in a democracy. “However the DMK authorities is unleashing oppression on the protesting opposition social gathering members. Accused individuals are roaming freely whereas protesting opposition leaders are being arrested. The voices of the opposition events are being silenced. If the opposition events weren’t given permission to protest citing legislation and order points, how was the DMK allowed to protest in opposition to the Governor on Tuesday?” she questioned
She stated there is no such thing as a security for ladies in Tamil Nadu. “We’ve got been saying that Gnanasekaran, the accused who was arrested by the police within the case of sexual assault on a scholar at Anna College, has hyperlinks with the DMK. Now the Chief Minister M.Okay. Stalin has admitted that he’s a DMK sympathiser. We don’t trust within the method through which the DMK authorities is dealing with the sexual assault case. We demand the probe be transferred to the CBI.”
