The finals of the Kerala Science Slam performed by the Kerala Sasthra Sahithya Parishad (KSSP) concluded at Indian Institute of Know-how (IIT) Palakkad on Saturday.
Sneha Das, researcher at Amala Most cancers Analysis Centre, Thrissur, received the Science Slam first prize for her presentation on the utility of mushrooms for wholesome hearts of most cancers sufferers. The prize constituted ₹30,000, a plaque and a quotation.
Scientific displays chosen from the regional science slams of Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode and Kannur featured within the mega slam finals. Twenty researchers from totally different establishments within the nation introduced their research.

Yadu Krishnan P. from Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, and Celin Rooth from the Division of Chemistry at Indian Institute of Know-how Madras, shared the third prize. Ms. Celin spoke concerning the magical world of gels, and Dr. Krishnan spoke concerning the sunscreen manufacturing and management amongst vegetation. They got a money prize of ₹10,000, a plaque and a quotation.
