PM Opens Eklavya Residential Mannequin Faculties within the ASR District

Visakhapatnam: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Eklavya residential mannequin colleges within the ASR district, in on-line mode from Ranchi, Jharkhand the place he was on a go to on Wednesday.

These colleges, constructed at the price of Rs 40 crore, would offer schooling to tribal college students. The PM, in on-line mode, participated within the basis laying for the faculties in Hukumpeta and Anantgiri mandals.

In tribal areas, the state tribal welfare and schooling division’s ashram colleges, gurukula colleges and schools completely present schooling to tribal college students. In 2010, the central authorities established Eklavya Mannequin Residential Faculties to supply high-quality schooling to tribal college students.

Subsequently, the primary Eklavya College was established in GK Veedhi mandal in 2011, adopted by colleges in Chintapalli within the tutorial yr 2018-19 and Paderu, Hukumpeta, Dumbriguda, Pedabayalu, Munchangiputtu, Araku Valley, G.Madugula, Anantagiri and Koyyur mandals within the tutorial yr 2020-21.

At present, 28 Ekalavya colleges are positioned throughout the state.

Of those, 17 are within the Alluri Seetharama Raju district and 11 within the Paderu division. The faculties in Muchangiputtu and Pedabayalu are positioned in Pedabayalu mandal, whereas the faculties in Koyyuru and Chintapalli are in Chintapalli mandal.

Moreover, the faculties in Paderu and Hakumpeta are positioned within the Paderu division, and the faculties in Araku Valley, Anantagiri and Dumbriguda are in Araku Valley.

The GK Veedhi and G Madugu colleges are located of their respective mandals.

Notably, solely the Chintapally and GK Veedhi colleges have their very own buildings. Building is ongoing for the faculties in Paderu, Koyyur Dumbriguda, G Madugula, and Munchangiputtu.

PM Modi inaugurated two Eklavya Mannequin Residential College buildings within the Pedabayalu and Araku Valley colleges. He laid the inspiration stone for the Hukumpeta and Ananthagiri college buildings.
