Following the knife assault on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his Mumbai-based condominium, the police now suspect that there could also be a couple of individual concerned within the stabbing, Instances of India reported citing an official.
The knife assault left Khan injured in his neck, arm, and backbone. He underwent surgical procedure at Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital and was discharged, earlier this week.
In the meantime, an accused named Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, alias Vijay Das, who’s a 30-year-old Bangladeshi nationwide, was arrested in reference to the assault.
As per the TOI report, the police cited the opportunity of the involvement of a couple of individual within the incident, in search of Shariful’s custody, which a courtroom granted until January 29. Furthermore, authorities allege that Shariful has been uncooperative and reluctant to reveal the place he acquired the weapon used within the crime.
