Ahuja later posted a video, apologising for his act and saying he would give up to the police.
“I’m Gaurav Ahuja, what I did within the public was very incorrect. I apologise to the general public, police division and (Eknath) Shinde Saheb. Give me an opportunity, I am sorry. Do not trouble any of my members of the family. I’ll give up on the Yerwada police station within the subsequent eight hours,” Ahuja, with folded palms, mentioned within the video.
