A person and his spouse had been killed, and three others, together with their son, had been injured in a highway accident when the automobile they had been travelling in collided with one other automobile on the Yamuna Expressway on Sunday, police mentioned.
The deceased have been recognized as Prem Singh, who was driving the automobile, and his spouse Pooja, whereas their son, Surya Singh, and relations, Roshan and Sumit, have sustained accidents.
In keeping with police, the accident came about at about 2 am on the freeway within the Mant police station space of Mathura district.
Station Home Officer (SHO) Jasbir Singh mentioned police suspect that the motive force dozed off and collided with an even bigger automobile forward of them, which prompted their automobile to be badly broken.
Prem Singh and his spouse had been residents of Noida, whereas Roshan is a resident of New Delhi and Sumit from Darbhanga in Bihar.
Police mentioned Prem Singh and Pooja died on the spot, whereas the injured within the accident are present process therapy.
An investigation into the matter is underway, police added.
